Great !! ... nice explanation.. Well, Can anyone let me know how to write a query if in the same data i wish to ad 100 to the total number of population only for India and not for the other countries. for example : Select population+100 from tblcountry where CountryName = 'India' and then display the same query . so the output should be (as per 4:49 mins of the video) India 4800 ( by adding 100 to all the 3 cells i.e : (1000+100) , (1500+100) , (2000+100) by the order displayed at 0.13. Nepal 1200 Srilanka 500

SQL Server has a tool called SQL Management Studio which you can install as a separate download. You can use this to run queries and see the results. That is what he is using.
