Walk all you want but if you're stuffing calories in your face like a heroin junkie does their veins, you're not going to lose a single pound. The only way to really lose weight that has been proven is a caloric deficit. Obviously exercise helps.

I walk 10-12K steps a day exclusively out of a walking session. It takes me 2.5hrs. I split it 1hr in the morning and remaining in the evening. I'm new to exercise and since I started it a month ago, I already shed 3kilograms. Of course under the guidance of a physiotherapist as well as a nutritionist. Walking has miraculously changed my physiological processes for the good.
I'm walking 90 minutes every day, 5 days a week. I work 5 days Monday to Friday and i walk to work 45 minutes at morning and 45 minutes at evening to home. I walk as fast as I can I get so tired. I work 10 hours and I work in a restaurant so I work all the time standing or walk even at work. I do exercise at weekends at home about 20-30 minutes. I keep a very good healthy diet. I drink 12-15 glass of water per every 24 hours, but I never lose weight it's been 3 years I'm weighting between 68-70 I'm not good at hight so look like I'm weighting 80-90. 10,000 steps per hour is not walking or even power walking... that's a light jog with a shorter gait.
I am walking about 2 hours, starting at 5am, and wearing a weight vest with currently 36lbs added. I am getting usually 6.5 miles and over 10K steps..., as I am training for mountaineering... every additional step throughout the day just adds to the benefits.
The recommendation is generally to try to achieve 10,000 steps per day, to achieve weightloss and health benefits... as most people won't get more than 4,000 steps in per day...
This is not good advice for those who've been immobile for years. How can they walk 10,000 steps in the beginning, they can't. Your video fails to mention how these people can literally get prepared to learn how to gain those steps!!!
no one can walk 10000 steps in 1 hour 10000 steps is equal to 5 mils most people can run at a little over 6.3 mph not likely a person can walk tat fast it would be best to incorporate hills or try using a good back pack with weights added if your able to handle the extra weight
Walking 10,000 steps in a single hour is not a goal most people would be able to meet. To put that in a beginner's walking video is ridiculous. 10,000 steps in two hours is doable for a beginner, but even that could be very difficult.
Its taken me 2yrs to go from size 18 to size 10 to 12 .. and all because of walking .. I do 15.000 steps 5 days a week .. its definitely the only way to stay slim and healthy .. WALKING is my favorite thing to do

While diet is more important than exercise when it comes to weight loss, working out can definitely speed up the process of fat burning, and is better for you in other ways as well. It speeds up metabolism and it improves general health as well, such as cardiorespiratory endurance.
Lower impaact exercises like using an elliptical, or using a cycling machine or even a bicycle......but yes going to a doctor and having his or her advice would be highly advisable since he or she may find something within your cartilage that we wouldnt know of.
