Am I the only person wondering how they keep them clean, and keep moths, and carpet beetles out of that room? I truly would like to know.

Andrew Bolton is such an incredible soul - that really sees through garments to the emotion and meaning behind it. He’s an artist in his own right - the way he creates experiences for people with objects through exhibitions is a magic within itself. Thank you Andrew, I could listen to you talk all day !

Catholicism and in general religion has been such a part of human history. At some point it really fermented people way of living and how they looked at the world. Now we’ve gain knowledge and have had our eyes open to new ideas. Keeping the style, history, and taking care of these sacred relics helps us understand the past. We give it’s respect. And in some way I like to think we all wish we look like heavens. Our way of reminding us as to why we look into the sky or as others call it into the “heavens”. The idea that there is so much more out there and how even though we try to grasp the sky into our hands we are reminded as to how small we are.
No more like inspiration.
Heavenly Bodies was an amazing exhibition.. I am so happy i got to see it!!!!!! It was absolutely inspiring and dream like.

As someone who is highly appreciative of your work, but as an Indian girl, I want to say that you could have chosen so many themes for the gala - yet you chose to enforce the perceived universality of western systems of thought. Do something different next time, please.
Green Tea (1 month ago)
Priyanka Peres I’m not sure if they are enforcing it per say, I agree that they should have more diversity in their exhibitions, but I’m not sure if they have the understanding... or the pieces to present a exhibition like this yet.

Haha! You try that on islam.
Aizimath A. Samath (1 month ago)
Why not?! Inspiring indeed. I believe muslim designers had have it before. They are very "quiet and quirk" on modest fashion museums. Maybe, being too islamic and private. Mine, I'm highlighting more on modest contemporary muslim fashion. Synergy and complimentary connections make it more vigorous, vivid and blessed. A. Bolton, K. Hayden and others, thank you.

Andrew Bolton should ask for an emo haircut when he hits the hair salon. Oh, Dear Diary, that would be cool.

Bobby MKD I guess they weren’t as eye catching as women’s fashion. It’s not like there’s much of a difference in men’s fashion especially western fashion when it comes to men’s wear.

grytlappar I couldn't agree more. People with your mentality range, makes me realize (once again), that even in a mainstream internet platform, you can find thoughts transformed into words, which reboots my level of perception in this chaotic algorithm call Life. Sorry for my horrible English, but it's not my native language. Huge appreciation from Greece.
grytlappar (6 months ago)
I love him so much. It's always the good ones who have to go, isn't It?! Fuck it to all hell... The problem with clinical depression—was he even seeking treatment for it? I don't believe he was; a _huge_ mistake)—is that when you're in it, you're unable to believe that things will get better. That's the problem with guns, btw, why depressed people shouldn't own one: It's—literally—too easy to pull the trigger on, sometimes, suicidal thoughts. Tomorrow you may still feel like shit! But not enough to kill yourself. As it turns out—and most people don't know this—the #1 cause of death by guns isn't homocide, but violence turned on oneself: Suicide. That's not mentioned a lot, now is it? It's not "newsworthy." (Also, there's the lack of (true) empathy; you're seen as selfish (you hurt your "loved ones;" why didn't you just pulled yourself together?), it has long been seen as a sin (in fucking religion), and a lot of people—even well-educated people!—don't know the difference betw sadness and depression, to the point of not "believing" in medication for depression. (Another piece of (horrible) tricia: The #2 cause of death by guns is when idiots who have a gun for "protecting their family"—mistake a family member for an "intruder." (Yay America! Such fucking morons.) This—the method—wasn't the case with McQueen obviously, but the psychological part is still relevant. Also: fuck depression .
