Creative writing/ storytelling tutorial for the multimedia age. The writing strategies offered in these tutorials can also be applied to podcasting, film work, storyboarding, cartooning, etc. but they are still very much about writing. Writing is an important skill for most kinds of multimedia artists.
These tutorials are offered for free to help promote my own story telling so please take a moment to see one of my animations at http://solomation.com. Thanks and I hope your writing goes well! Also check out:

Show notes: The writer does not start out to write a story, write to find out what they don't know yet, get an idea for a main character I don't really know and an enviornment, a journey of discovery, writing exercises, first one, create whatever character your going to become, take on their identity, that is your starting point, you have yet to find out what will happen, what the fictional environment will turn out to be like, what will happen to you, what eventually happens, starting off point, just start writing, write your way to the discovery, story generation, not as simple as what happens, don't plan it out ahead of time, when people talk about writing being a form of discovery, you write to find out, through this process a story emerges, generates the story, the story has to be uncovered, most difficult and most rewarding, two modes to writing, dreamer mode, critic mode, techniques, tools, stratifies, imagine mode, individual, every one has their own style, difficult to explain, a story is not so much at setting up, to be the creator of a story you go on a journey where you don't know yet, movies, books, point of departure, unknown, role, amazing, jumping off point, creative exercise, generate story, be more creative, original, new story, where the story starts, scenario, find out what that world is like, let a story unfold, half way through introduce some unknown danger, puts a spin on it, adds energy, assume the personality of, mystery, starting off point, your own barely know main character, new environment, a creative tool, they are like the seed, germ, DNA of a work of fiction, plot line, finally, write those down, be more creative, critical thinker, more original.
