VISITING TOMBS & TEMPLES IN NEW DELHI 🇮🇳 TRAVEL INDIA

09:26
I venture into some of the quieter parts of Delhi, visiting Humayun's Tomb, Lodhi Gardens, and Safdarjung's Tomb, before spending the evening at the atmospheric Sikh Gurudwara Temple. Ayushi and I attend a prayer service, eating a free meal with our hands alongside hundreds of others. To finish off, I head to one of New Delhi's most iconic sights, India Gate. ► SUPPORT ME ►►► https://www.patreon.com/jasonbillamtravel/ If you've not seen the previous two videos from this trip to India, you can watch them here: ► DIWALI 2017 🇮🇳 TRAVELLING TO NEW DELHI, INDIA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zqIyRTqtuk&t=3s ► OLD DELHI TOUR 🇮🇳 INDIA TRAVEL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-sUsQSjfR4&t=2s ► INSTAGRAM ►►► https://www.instagram.com/jason_billam/ ► FACEBOOK ►►► https://www.facebook.com/jasonbillamt... ► SUBSCRIBE ►►► https://www.youtube.com/c/JasonBillam Check out my travel vlogs from other countries: ► KOSOVO VLOGS 🇽🇰 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkzbJ... ► MACEDONIA VLOGS 🇲🇰 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYmFI... ► BULGARIA VLOGS 🇧🇬 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... ► ROMANIA VLOGS 🇷🇴 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... ► HUNGARY VLOGS 🇭🇺 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... ► CHINA VLOGS 🇨🇳 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... Travel Vlog Iv is a travel and food video channel. I'm Ivana, nice to meet you! You'll find travel and food videos on this channel because I like to take you along while exploring the world. These videos hopefully make you excited to travel and eat food around the world as well. There's such a joy in getting out of your comfort zone and growing as human being by traveling to new places and eating delicious food you've never tasted before. I'm currently based in Bangalore because India is my favourite country in the world. Travel in India is kind of my thing but I've been al over the world. Just check these playlists to begin your journey with me: https://bit.ly/2l4sMk4 FAQ's: Q Where are you from? A I am born in former Yugoslavia. Mom is Serbian, Dad is Bosnian. During the '90's war we came to the Netherlands and I got Dutch nationality. I've lived in Amsterdam for 8 years but lost my heart to India. Since 2018 I'm based in Bangalore. See this video for my refugee story: https://bit.ly/2l17T9h Q How can you afford to travel so much? A I saved for 3 years while working full time and now travel vlogging is my job. I work together with tourism agencies but also do some freelance work on the side. You can watch this video: https://youtu.be/vxfjQO_F1vE and this one: https://youtu.be/dB7plg139wQ to learn more about my story. Q What camera do you film with and what editing software do you use? A Canon G7X Mark II and Final Cut Pro X Q (Why) Are you vegetarian? A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-) Q Why do you usually travel alone? A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own. Q Why do you love India so much? A Watch this video: http://bit.ly/2iyUKkc and this one: https://youtu.be/Sh7E9VisTKQ

There are places to see and things to do. This India Travel Vlog in Delhi covers a little bit of what to expect to meet in the Indian capital city. Main stops are at the Sikh Gurudwara in the center of the capital, the agrasen ki baoli water well and a bar in Connaught Place, Delhi.

Follow Me On Instagram:- https://www.instagram.com/devbratsharmaofficial/ I Tried to capture the whole journey in this video by giving some shout out footages of the vaishno devi, from the beginning to the end. About Vaishno Devi :- Vaishno Devi, also known as Mata Rani, Trikuta and Vaishnavi, is a manifestation of the Hindu Mother Goddess Mahalakshmi. The words "maa" and "mata" are commonly used in India for "mother", and thus are often used in connection with Vaishno Devi. Vaishno Devi Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to the Hindu Goddess, located in Katra at the Trikuta Mountains within the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. The Temple or Bhawan is 13.5 km from Katra and various modes of transportation are available from katra to Bhawan, including Ponies, Electric vehicles and paalkhis operated by 2 or 4 persons. Helicopter services are also available up to Sanjichhat, which is 9.5 km from Katra. Bhairon temple is another 1.5 km from Bhawan. vaishno devi gufa darshan jai maa durga vaishno devi katha vaishno devi aarti bhajans helicopter #yatra jai maa santoshi vaishno devi yatra 2017 jai jwala maa jai maa serial episodes amarnath mandir naina devi mandir jai mata di song katra railway station jwala devi ardhkuwari gufa #vaishno #devi documentary shiv khori chalo bulawa aaya hai mata ne bulaya hai maa vaishno devi serial episodes bhakti movies full hindi hd maa vaishno devi yatra devi geet vaishno devi aarti dharti gagan mein hoti hai jai maa durga chalo bulawa aaya hai mata ne bulaya hai jai maa santoshi hath jod ke khadi hoon tere dwar jai jwala maa jai maa kali devi songs bhojpuri bhakti song dj devi song hindi tune mujhe bulaya sherawaliye jai mata di song jagdati pahado wali maa maa santoshi full movie Song: Ikson - Last Summer (Vlog No Copyright Music) Music promoted by Vlog No Copyright Music. Traveling Tips for India (New Delhi, India Travel Video)

04:49
With some great travel tips, Udayan helps you navigate through the exciting and overwhelming India. What are some practical and useful tips you should know when traveling to New Delhi, India or another city in India? Despite India developing rapidly, it still does not have most of the infrastructure and amenities that are so common in the western world. Following a few handy travel tips might make travel for you a whole lot easier while you are in India. First, if you are taking a taxi from the airport, make sure it is a registered taxi. The best option is to take a prepaid taxi. If that is not available, you should fix the price or make sure that the meter is working. Do not wait till reaching your destination for deciding on the price even if your driver insists on doing so. This applies not only the transportation from the airport but any transportation in gerneral. If you are traveling within India there are quite a few transportation options available. In India transportation ranges from the pragmatic to the imaginative. Within Delhi the metros the best way to travel. So if you are going somewhere, check if there is a metro route that can get you there. For short distances autos are generally a good bet. Unless the meter is not working. In which case you should find out what the correct rate is from the hotel you are staying at or from the person you are staying with. If you plan to be sight seeing throughout the day, it is probably a good idea to get an air conditioned cab like this one. Especially so if it is summer. These cabs are generally cheap but check on the prices with your hotel or with the person you are staying with. Just incase. You might want to rent your own car to drive around here. But if you are not used to the streets in Delhi, it is not a recommended option. Always try and get bottled water instead of tap water in this country. Bottled water is widely available. But when you are buying it make sure that the top is sealed. India has some great street food. But travelers should avoid eating it. If you are really keen, there is some upscale resturants that serve traditional fast food, that is actually hygenic. India has the finest hotels in the whole world. You will find attention and service here of levels far receding often those, even in the West. People here, from the concierge to the bell boy, will be more than willing to help you, even with your smallest bits of luggage. However, there is a slight catch. They all want to be tipped. Fortunately ten or tweenty rupee notes will do the trick, sometimes. This here is a tweenty rupee note. This is a ten rupee note. This is hundred and this is five hundred. It is always a good idea to have as many as possible of these, that is a ten rupee ad a tweenty rupee note, for tipping and for just about everything else. When you ask somebody for dirrections it is always a good idea to ask somebody else, just to confirm. It is not that somebody wants to give you wrong dirrections or wants to ruin your day, it is just that sometimes people want to be way too helpful. Most upscale and midscale hotels in the country provide you with basic accessories, like tissue paper and toilet paper. However, if you are putting up in one of those cheaper or small town accomodations you might not want to take these things for granted. All these essentials are available widely across the country. In general stores like the one behind my back. In India, getting your laundry done is not a hastle at all. Laundry takes a day. And the shirts can be ironed within the space of a few minutes. You need not worry about your laundry because it will not take more than a dollar. Getting your shirts wrinkled up is not too much of a hastle. Always bargin in the market place. Unless you are in a fixed price shop. It is not a good idea to give beggers around the place money. Even if you are tempted too. It just incourages the wrong sort of placement. And anyways the money always goes to someone else and not exactly the person you paid the money. Avoid going to quiet and lonely areas if you are a woman. Dressing conservative is probably the best option. Medical help here is cheaper than any place else and widely available, at least in the cities. However, get a medical refference, like you get anywhere else, before you go to the facility. When you are traveling back, I will equate enough time to make sure that you get to the airport on time. Even when you travel back late at night you are likely to encounter a traffic jam. Especially when you are traveling from central Delhi to say the airport. Take about an hour at hand but buffer some time in for traffic jams. With these tips you can enjoy a more comfortable, safer and healthier stay in the country. And get around to what is the most important, enjoying the immense beauty and culture you find here. This is Udayan showing you India.

Custom stitched suits using world class techniques. Location: Next to Rivoli Cinema Address: 25 Regal Building, Connaught Place, New Delhi Vaish at Rivoli used to be known as Vaish Brothers. And it was started in 1940 by my grandfather, Mr. O. P. Vaish. Vaish has been at the top end of the fashion business for 70 years. We have had the creme de la creme of Indian and international society. The British aristocracy to begin with, followed by various Indian nawabs and maharajas. And now we have the top corporate honchos and various diplomats. True bespoke means that a garment has been made specifically for you. You have been part of the process in creating it, you have modeled the unique changes that you need in it, and there is really no other garment like that in the world. "We study the anatomy as a doctor. Left and right shoulders, which can be different, left and right hip can be different." What we do is the "floating canvas" technique of construction for suits. Which ensures that it really fits in sync with the shape of the body and the posture of the person. When you want to get your nice next suit, try us, try a true bespoke suit.

Learn about handmade Pashmina shawls and traditional carpets - some take years to complete. Website: www.shaw-brothers.com Address: D-47 Ground Floor, Defence Colony, New Delhi Phone/Contact Info: 91-11-24690364, 24690280 Kashmir is very popular for its handicrafts. And you can find those handicrafts at the Shaw Brothers in Defence Colony in Delhi. Established in the early 19th century, this place showcases a wide variety of Kashmiri art. The brother duo's company also exports shawls, carpets, jamaras, silk embroideries and other products that are made and manufactured in the Kashmir valley. In case you do not know what a shawl is, it is like a scarf but much larger, that can cover your entire body. Traditionally, Indian women wore shawls to protect themselves from the cold but over time shawls have become a fashion accessory, in India and the West. "We are more known for the shawls than carpets. Carpets you can say we are new, it just only third or fourth generation in carpets. We are on twelve generations in shawls." Shawls made out of Pashmina are the most expensive and are very prestigious. Pashimina fabric is made out of the Himalayan goat. It is very soft and very warm, even as compared to cashmere. Weaving a shawl is like developing a poem. An artisan does it according to the mood. Here you can find a wide variety, ranging from ancient to contemporary. "You can see shawls like 400 year old pieces, pieces worn by royal kings or princesses. And you can see new, modern, funky shawls. Here we have a shawl from the Sikh era, which is the quite recent past, a 160-170 year old piece. And these used to be the original length of the shawls rather than the new shawls which are one meter or two meter." The shawls are made manually, keeping all the detailing in mind. "Plain real Pashimina shawls, something like this, will take roughly 7 to 8 days. When it comes to embroideries and weaves, embroideries can take from one month to roughly twelve years of time on a shawl. Same is true about the weave. Weave takes roughly 20-25 days to five years, six years of time. You can see shawls which are 4,000 rupees onwards to 40 lakh-rupee. So something like this, in international market the value would be roughly like $40,000, $45,000." Also, one cannot leave aside the hand made, hand knotted carpets that incorporate intricate designs. The art of carpet making has been inspired by the Persian and the Turkish traditions. So next time if you want to feast your eyes on these exquisite Kashmiri crafts, check out Shaw Brothers. Even if you do not want to buy anything but just have a look at them. This is Ena, showing you Delhi.

Hyderabad : is the capital of the southern Indian state of Telangana along the banks of the Musi River, it has a population of about 6.7 million and a metropolitan population of about 7.75 million, making it the fourth most populous city and sixth most populous urban agglomeration in India. Established in 1591 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, Hyderabad remained under the rule of the Qutb Shahi dynasty for nearly a century before the Mughals captured the region. In 1724, Mughal viceroy Asif Jah I declared his sovereignty and created his own dynasty, known as the Nizams of Hyderabad. Hyderabadi cuisine comprises a broad repertoire of rice, wheat and meat dishes and the skilled use of various spices. Hyderabadi biryani and Hyderabadi haleem, with their blend of Mughlai and Arab cuisines, carry the national Geographical Indications tag. New Delhi, India Travel Guide - Qutub Minar in New Delhi

01:06
Take a tour of Qutub Minar in New Delhi, India -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions series by GeoBeats. One of the finest and earliest examples of Indian-Islamic architecture is the Qutub Minar tower. The minaret, or tower, is a distinctive characteristic of Islamic mosques. This minaret is the tallest of its kind in the world, standing 234 feet high. Estimated to be built in the 13th century, the site was built for prayer services. Ornate carvings on the inside are typical of the architecture at the time. The larger Qutub complex includes other ancient ruins and structures. Up top from such a great height, the view is certainly memorable.
