10 Hidden Details The Secret Service Doesn't Want You To Know
Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg Try out ThePremium Network for free https://goo.gl/7Ueuwz For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] You’ve seen them running alongside the presidential limousine, scanning large crowds like hawks and walking around the grounds of the White House. Of course, we’re talking about the US Secret Service. These men and women have a serious job and they definitely look the part. Dressed in their black suits, their best-known job is to protect the POTUS. But there’s more to it than that. As you’ll see with these following 10 secrets, the Secret Service is about more than looking intimidating while wearing sunglasses. Ahead we’ll start you off by explaining the original purpose of the Secret Service. Spoiler alert – it didn’t actually involve protecting the President. From investigations to interrogations, we’ll take a look at some of the other jobs the Secret Service performs today. Ever wonder what would happen if most of the US government was wiped out? Well, the Secret Service plays a role in ensuring the continuity of the government and it involves the secret location of Mount Weather. Of course, all those men and women in suits need a place to hang out and we’ve found it on H Street in Washington D.C. We’ll also show you that the Secret Service isn’t all about taking a bullet either. No, they are prepared to perform all sorts of life-saving procedures on the President to ensure their chances of staying alive between the time of an incident and arrival at the nearest hospital. There’s also the fact that not all agents are human. That’s right, dogs do their part in the secret service and their training is just as rigorous as it is for their two-legged masters. Then there’s the proximity of the Secret Service to the President. As you’ll see, they are always nearby and sometimes it can be a little too close for comfort. Even in the safe confines of the White House, agents are on guard and that includes those stationed in the kitchen. They’re not just there to keep the chefs safe. We’ll show you how agents are forensic experts who can track down a threatening letter just by the type of ink it was written with. Finally, there’s the weaponry and equipment. We all know the Secret Service packs some firepower. However, the types of devices and weapons can be truly mind-boggling as it demonstrates they are ready for nearly any scenario. Diplomatic Security Service | DSS
Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) is the federal law enforcement agency and security arm of the United States Department of State. The agency is the lead U.S. law enforcement organization abroad. Its duties include protecting U.S. diplomatic missions, U.S. diplomats, and visiting foreign dignitaries; conducting criminal, counter-terrorism, and counterintelligence investigations both domestically and abroad; advising U.S. ambassadors on security matters; and managing or implementing security programs worldwide. Diplomatic Security Service most notably provides protection for US diplomatic missions, US diplomats, and visiting foreign dignitaries. The DSS also performs a myriad of other activities including international investigations, threat analysis, counterterrorism, security technology, cyber security, and protection of people, property, and information. DSS Special Agents are federal agents with the power to arrest, carry firearms, serve arrest warrants, and perform other law enforcement activities. The majority of DSS Special Agents are jointly Foreign Service specialists and American federal law enforcement officers, making the DSS unique, as most other federal law enforcement agents are members of the Federal Civil Service. As such, because DSS Special Agents are members of the Foreign Service, unlike all other civilian federal law enforcement officers, DSS agents must serve multiple-year tours overseas as a condition of employment. When not at an overseas assignment, agents serve in field offices and HQ positions. A small percentage of DS special agents are members of the State Department's civil service, and are not mandated to serve tours overseas. These special agents focus on criminal work and dignitary protection within the United States. When assigned to domestic field offices, DSS Special Agents investigate passport fraud and visa fraud, and protect visiting foreign dignitaries. DSS agents also investigate the activities of foreign intelligence agencies that are focused on the Department of State, assist in apprehending fugitives that have fled to the United States, and conduct background checks on State Department employees, applicants, and contractors. When assigned to US embassies abroad, DSS Special Agents perform law enforcement duties at US missions, provide security assistance, protect senior diplomats, and perform other duties. The ranking DSS officer at an embassy or consulate holds the title Regional Security Officer (RSO), and is often known as the security attaché. Both at home and abroad, DSS agents engage in other types of law enforcement including counterintelligence operations, counterterrorism operations, and dedicated protection operations for the United States Secretary of State, United States Representative to the United Nations, and other senior diplomatic officials. Things the Secret Service DON'T Want You to Know
The secret service has the difficult job of keeping our country's leader safe, 24 7. But this just one of their main tasks and sometimes they might mess up. Here are 23 Things the Secret Service Don’t Want You To Know It was back in 1865 that the Secret Service was created, not to protect the President though, but rather to curb the overflow of counterfeit money in circulation. The first Chief of the Secret Service was William P Wood, sworn in by Secretary of the Treasury Hugh McCulloch. It wasn’t long until the duties of a Secret Service agent broadened, and in 1867 they included, “detecting persons perpetrating fraud against the government.” Today we look at some of the secrets of the Secret Service. Subscribe to Talltanic http://goo.gl/wgfvrr 8 - Hot Air… Jackie Kennedy will be remembered for her pure class, but what you may not know is that she used to be a secret smoker. The only way she could get cigarettes without anyone knowing about it, was to bum them off the Secret Service agents. 7 - Part of the Fleet… It wasn’t until 1901 that better precautions were taken to protect the US Presidents. It was that year that William McKinley was assassinated by Leon Czolgosz. Although better measures were taken to protect the President’s, they weren’t fool proof. President Kennedy was shot and killed in 1968, and as mentioned earlier, there was civilian footage which helped investigations a lot. Since then, a death car has been added to the Presidential fleet. This car is on constant “death watch”, and films each and every procession the President rides in. 6 - Don’t send chocolates… If you’re wanting to send the President a little gift, don’t even bother with chocolates. They’re never eaten! The President’s food is under constant surveillance. The Secret service is in charge of overseeing all the meals prepared for the President. Losing a President through poisoning is definitely not a great way to go. When he travels, Navy stewards join him to prepare his meals and even with photo-ops involving food, the food is left untouched. It’s not all bad though, because at least deep-dish pizza cravings can be satisfied. They send it to a nearby address, and it’s then taken straight to the President! 5 - Room with a view... One would assume that if the President was staying in your hotel, everyone would be pretty excited, however it’s the exact opposite. The hotels have to go through an extensive background check, which 8takes a lot of the hotel’s time. Then, once the President is inside safely, several floors remain empty as guests are forbidden to enter those areas. It all sounds quite acceptable, but surely the hotels are compensated for their loss of revenue when the President stays in their hotel? One would hope so! 4 - Jot it down… If you’re ever planning on sending a threatening or troubling hand-written note to the President, here’s a very good reason for you to refrain. The Secret Service work closely with ink manufactures. Each and every pen contains ink, and that ink contains certain markers that can assist the agency in tracking people down, or at the very least, the area where they’re from. The ink will lead them to the country where the pen is sold, what brand and even an exact store in certain cases. 3 - Taking the job a little too seriously… This doesn’t put one at ease, but it’s been said that the Secret Service Agents haven’t actually sworn to lose their own lives in order for the President to survive. So, although they probably would take a bullet for him, they don’t actually have to. They won’t be put behind bars for not doing it, but I imagine that it would be better to leave this earth a hero then have a stigma with you for the rest of your life, knowing you didn’t save the life of the President. 2 - Learning new skills… As we’ve learnt, the Secret Service are always at the President’s side – so that means, whatever the President does, so does the agent. If the President is riding a horse, you can guarantee the Secret Service Agents are riding horses. If the President is playing golf, the agents are playing golf and if the President is going for a run, you better be sure to don your running shoes! 1 - Bang Bang… When Secret Service agents do their training, they’re shot with fake bullets. The reason they do that is so that the agents get a feel of the impact of the shot, and also know exactly where they’ve been hit or where they’ve connected with their target. It hurts, but it’s the best way to receive the proper training.

What The Secret Service Doesn’t Want You To Know
The mysterious truths the Secret Service doesn't want you to know! These are the hidden details and untold facts behind one of the government's most cryptic organizations. From weight sensors in the Oval Office to their methods of tracing angry letter origins, today we look at What The Secret Service Doesn’t Want You To Know. #15 Never Infiltrated Perhaps rarely mentioned so as to not tempt anyone to try, the Secret Service has a leg up on most other federal agencies. They’ve never been infiltrated. That is to say, even though agencies like the CIA, FBI and NSA have had spies uncovered within their ranks, the Secret Service’s record remains traitor-free. The lifelong career path, high qualifications, and low-chance of actually working anywhere near the president are all possible reasons why no spy has successfully permeated the agency’s screening process. #14 Oval Office Pressure Pads When you become President of the United States of America, the weight of the nation and even the world can feel like it rests on your shoulders. But what about your weight? Well, if you’re in the Oval Office, it’s probably resting on a high-tech tracking system belonging to the Secret Service. Installed to help monitor the President’s safety while respecting private discussions and matters of extreme confidentiality, the pressure pads in the office of the Commander-In-Chief sit underneath the carpet. These measure the presidents weight and informs the agents of his specific location in the room at any given time! #13 Food Surveillance If you think the Secret Service watches over the President like a hawk, then you should see how they inspect his food. Whether on the road or safely at home, Secret Service agents are constantly in attendance during meal preparation. Small food carts or local restaurants are typically off limits as it can be impossible to guarantee the safety of the cooking when so much of the usual ingredients are pre-prepared. Pizza delivery is allowed, but they have it sent to a nearby address to disguise its recipient and lower any associated risks. But even a Christmas fruitcake from a loved one is restricted as every bit of the meal’s construction requires thorough supervision. When travelling, stewards from the Navy are brought onto the Presidential trip and exclusively cook all the meals.

Beschreibung: https://goo.gl/Yxr7Kr Thumbnail: https://goo.gl/I2Mffb

First Black Secret Service Agent, Abraham Bolden, Speaks Out On BEing Framed & JFK Assassination"

Donate online: http://bit.ly/VfaE1N "No More Secrets: The First Black Secret Service Agent, Abraham Bolden, Speaks Out On BEing Framed, JFK Assassination & Cover-up..." 1/19/2011 (Note: Bro. Abraham Celebrated His 76th Life Affirmation Day With Us On The Day Of This Interview!) From the first African American assigned to the presidential Secret Service detail comes a gripping and unforgettable true story of bravery and patriotism in the face of bitter hatred and unthinkable corruption. Abraham Bolden was a young African American Secret Service agent in Chicago when he was asked by John F. Kennedy himself to join the White House Secret Service detail. For Bolden, it was a dream come true—and an encouraging sign of the charismatic president's vision for a new America. But the dream quickly turned sour when Bolden found himself regularly subjected to open hostility and blatant racism. He was taunted, mocked, and disparaged but remained strong, and he did not allow himself to become discouraged. More of a concern was the White House team's irresponsible approach to security. While on his tour of presidential duty, Bolden witnessed firsthand the White House agents' long-rumored lax approach to their job. Drinking on duty, abandoning key posts—this was not a team that appeared to take their responsibility to protect the life of the president particularly seriously. Both prior to and following JFK's assassination, Bolden sought to expose and address the inappropriate behavior and negligence of these agents, only to find himself the victim of a sinister conspiracy that resulted in his conviction and imprisonment on a trumped-up bribery charge. A gripping memoir substantiated by recently declassified government documents, The Echo from Dealey Plaza is the story of the terrible price paid by one man for his commitment to truth and justice, as well as a shocking new perspective on the circumstances surrounding the death of a beloved president.
