Kai Lenny's Kite Board vs. ORACLE TEAM USA's AC72

03:59
Watch the Action Clip: http://youtu.be/PvA6AKFX4r0 Get barreled http://win.gs/1alYVe2 Kai Lenny's $1,500 Kite Board vs ORACLE TEAM USA's $15 million catamaran..."It's like bringing a knife to a gun fight," said ORACLE TEAM USA grinder Matt Mitchell. Those were the comments of Jimmy Spithill, the skipper of ORACLE TEAM USA and the defenders of the America's Cup. The question was whether kite board champion Kai Lenny can outrace the new 72-foot catamaran of ORACLE TEAM USA. Pink slips were on the line when Lenny put his $1,500 board up against the $15 million boat recently on San Francisco Bay. On the same course that will host the 34th America's Cup in September, the two sides engaged in a bridge-to-bridge battle between the Golden Gate and Bay Bridge. Kai Lenny got a significant jump out of the starting gate, launching his kite and harnessing the power of the winds to propel himself at 20 knots across the water (23 mph). This caught ORACLE TEAM USA off guard at first, before they found their rhythm and cranked it up to 30 knots (34 mph) to blow by the kite board. "He got a really good start, so we just put the hammer down," added Spithill. Lenny, who was born and raised in Hawaii, achieved recognition in 2012 with a first place finish at the Hawaii Island Finals SUP pro, and first place at the Sunset Beach SUP pro. Kiteboarding combines aspects of wakeboarding, windsurfing, surfing, paragliding, and gymnastics into one action sport. ORACLE TEAM USA will be looking to defend its America's Cup title when racing starts September 7 in San Francisco. Oracle DB Vs MySQL for Enterprise DataBase Deployments

08:54
Oracle DB is big, and expensive, but it brings a lot to the "table" when compared with MySQL. MySQL has limited ability to audit. MySQL's security is unsophisticated. There are no groups or roles, no ability to deny a privilege (you can only grant privileges). A user who logs in with the same username and password from different network addresses may be treated as a completely separate user. There is no built-in encryption comparable to Oracle. MySQL's Authentication is built-in. There is no LDAP, Active Directory, or other external authentication capability. MySQL has no MPP (massively parallel processing ) support. Unlike Oracle MySQL has no fractional-second storage type for times, dates, or intervals. There is no RAC (Real Application Cluster) support in My SQL, and no failover or server promotion either. These are strong features in Oracle MySQL's number of joins per query is limited to 61. Oracle's limit is much larger. MySQL Replication is asynchronous and has many limitations and edge cases. For example, it is single-threaded, so a powerful slave can find it hard to replicate fast enough to keep up with a less powerful master.

ORACLE Halos Overview: SMD vs. Plasma LED Technology

04:23
Which rings are brighter? SMD or Plasma? We get that question a lot around here at ORACLE Lighting and today, we tackle all the differences between our halo technologies and ColorSHIFT. Make a better purchasing decision and choose the product that fits your needs best with our ORACLE Halo Ring Overview. More info on all of our rings below: - ORACLE SMD or "Surface Mount Diode" Halos utilize an advanced type of LED chip that can produce brilliant light output while only consuming a small amount of power. The SMD chips are installed onto a CAD designed 6-layer PCB (Printed Circuit Board) which is very sturdy and will not break if pressured. The PCB can easily be mounted to a headlight housing using the pre-installed 3M adhesive tape backing. - ORACLE PLASMA - Plasma LED Halo Rings are the latest advancement in Solid-State Lighting Technology. The Plasma Halos feature dozens of semiconductors which make direct contact to the circuit board essentially turning the entire Plasma ring into one LED. The design makes for optimal thermal management, high packing density, and overall high performance light output. This new technology is not only brighter than previous LED Halo Rings but it also features very consistent light output and appears as one solid ring rather than a ring of individual LEDS. - ORACLE CCFL - Headlight Halo Kits use Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting XE technology, which delivers a smooth and even halo illumination. CCFL halos have an expected lifetime of 50,000 hours of continuous use and come with a Lifetime Warranty. CCFL Halos require an external power supply. ORACLE "XE" Power Inverters are included in every ORACLE CCFL Halo Kit System. CHECK THE LINKS BELOW FOR THE LATEST ORACLE/AACstyle NEWS, INFO & PRICING! Oracle vs SQL Server vs MySQL Contest!

04:42
As you study databases, there is a category of databases known as relational databases. These organize data in tables. The three most popular relational databases are MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle. These database systems are top competitors. These are very similar and they are all very popular. Which one is best? They are very strong competitors. Of course certain ones are better for certain things, but they are all based off of the SQL standard. I am announcing that I am making videos over all three relational database systems. I am uploading them at the same time and turning it into a competition. The scoring systems works like this: 1 view = 1 point. 1 like = 10 points. The competition starts on video #23 and ends on video #150. After this I will add up the points and see which series wins. The winning series gets a bonus 50 videos. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HELP ME! http://www.patreon.com/calebcurry Subscribe to my newsletter: http://bit.ly/JoinCCNewsletter Donate!: http://bit.ly/DonateCTVM2. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Additional Links~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ More content: http://CalebCurry.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/CalebTheVideoMaker Google+: https://plus.google.com/+CalebTheVideoMaker2 Twitter: http://twitter.com/calebCurry Amazing Web Hosting - http://bit.ly/ccbluehost (The best web hosting for a cheap price!)

Oracle vs SQL Server -- SQL Server BOSS

04:41
I very obviously misspoke when I said that SQL Server DBAs earn more than Oracle DBAs! I hope I didn't make other obviously incorrect statements, but some statements may only be wrong because my opinion is different than yours. I'll listen to this again tomorrow with fresh ears to hear others things I didn't intend to say, and as I indicate elsewhere, I hope to be revising and republishing videos with the iterations improving their quality, accuracy and usefulness. This is not the feature/performance-based comparison you might expect, but I hope it provides some insight or assists in thinking about comparison of the environments where these products are used. I acknowledge this this is primarily an "opinion" video. (As though other videos of mine aren't!) Please like, comment, share and subscribe. These will help the channel appear more often in search requests and suggested videos.

SQL: Delete Vs Truncate Vs Drop

08:27
In this tutorial, you'll learn the difference between delete/drop and truncate. PL/SQL (Procedural Language/Structured Query Language) is Oracle Corporation's procedural extension for SQL and the Oracle relational database. PL/SQL is available in Oracle Database (since version 7), TimesTen in-memory database (since version 11.2.1), and IBM DB2 (since version 9.7).[1] Oracle Corporation usually extends PL/SQL functionality with each successive release of the Oracle Database. PL/SQL includes procedural language elements such as conditions and loops. It allows declaration of constants and variables, procedures and functions, types and variables of those types, and triggers. It can handle exceptions (runtime errors). Arrays are supported involving the use of PL/SQL collections. Implementations from version 8 of Oracle Database onwards have included features associated with object-orientation. One can create PL/SQL units such as procedures, functions, packages, types, and triggers, which are stored in the database for reuse by applications that use any of the Oracle Database programmatic interfaces. PL/SQL works analogously to the embedded procedural languages associated with other relational databases. For example, Sybase ASE and Microsoft SQL Server have Transact-SQL, PostgreSQL has PL/pgSQL (which emulates PL/SQL to an extent), and IBM DB2 includes SQL Procedural Language,[2] which conforms to the ISO SQL’s SQL/PSM standard. The designers of PL/SQL modeled its syntax on that of Ada. Both Ada and PL/SQL have Pascal as a common ancestor, and so PL/SQL also resembles Pascal in several aspects. However, the structure of a PL/SQL package does not resemble the basic Object Pascal program structure as implemented by a Borland Delphi or Free Pascal unit. Programmers can define public and private global data-types, constants and static variables in a PL/SQL package.[3] PL/SQL also allows for the definition of classes and instantiating these as objects in PL/SQL code. This resembles usage in object-oriented programming languages like Object Pascal, C++ and Java. PL/SQL refers to a class as an "Abstract Data Type" (ADT) or "User Defined Type" (UDT), and defines it as an Oracle SQL data-type as opposed to a PL/SQL user-defined type, allowing its use in both the Oracle SQL Engine and the Oracle PL/SQL engine. The constructor and methods of an Abstract Data Type are written in PL/SQL. The resulting Abstract Data Type can operate as an object class in PL/SQL. Such objects can also persist as column values in Oracle database tables. PL/SQL is fundamentally distinct from Transact-SQL, despite superficial similarities. Porting code from one to the other usually involves non-trivial work, not only due to the differences in the feature sets of the two languages,[4] but also due to the very significant differences in the way Oracle and SQL Server deal with concurrency and locking. There are software tools available that claim to facilitate porting including Oracle Translation Scratch Editor,[5] CEITON MSSQL/Oracle Compiler [6] and SwisSQL.[7] The StepSqlite product is a PL/SQL compiler for the popular small database SQLite. PL/SQL Program Unit A PL/SQL program unit is one of the following: PL/SQL anonymous block, procedure, function, package specification, package body, trigger, type specification, type body, library. Program units are the PL/SQL source code that is compiled, developed and ultimately executed on the database. The basic unit of a PL/SQL source program is the block, which groups together related declarations and statements. A PL/SQL block is defined by the keywords DECLARE, BEGIN, EXCEPTION, and END. These keywords divide the block into a declarative part, an executable part, and an exception-handling part. The declaration section is optional and may be used to define and initialize constants and variables. If a variable is not initialized then it defaults to NULL value. The optional exception-handling part is used to handle run time errors. Only the executable part is required. A block can have a label. Package Packages are groups of conceptually linked functions, procedures, variables, PL/SQL table and record TYPE statements, constants, cursors etc. The use of packages promotes re-use of code. Packages are composed of the package specification and an optional package body. The specification is the interface to the application; it declares the types, variables, constants, exceptions, cursors, and subprograms available. The body fully defines cursors and subprograms, and so implements the specification. Two advantages of packages are: Modular approach, encapsulation/hiding of business logic, security, performance improvement, re-usability. They support object-oriented programming features like function overloading and encapsulation. Using package variables one can declare session level (scoped) variables, since variables declared in the package specification have a session scope.

IN VS EXISTS VS JOIN, performance

05:04
This video demonstrates the performance effects of using an exists clause instead of an IN clause, also it shows how we can update a simple sub query having an IN clause with an EXISTS or JOIN statement. It also shows that joining would consider the null data, where as an IN clause would neglect null values. PL/SQL: Weak Vs Strong RefCursor && Normal cursor Vs RefCursor

10:26
In this tutorial, you'll learn Weak Vs Strong Ref Cursor && Normal cursor Vs Ref Cursor...

Etrian Odyssey 5 Oracle Shamans vs Star Devourer (Advanced)

05:37
So there is a very sad story about this. Originally, the plan was to use Celestian Deathbringer to build Black Blade stacks and showcase Explosion Damage. Except... I... didn't have Earthlain Evoker with Banefire Breath as QR character, so I had to go the other way (which is less ideal but ah well; the focus is Oracle Shamans). At least I use Frigid Reap I guess. I will probably do something with multiple Harbinger some time down the line I guess. But yeah. This was done sort of in response to a fellow Etrian fan at discord. The idea was moving back and forth and I had a moment to try it so I went for it sort of as a test run. Note that Mana Oracle requires prayer buff at the time of skill launching and not just at the time of skill selection. If the buff is gone for some reason (including another user's Mana Oracle) it won't do any attack. Meaning, you can't have two or more Mana Oracle user unless you want to flip Ancient Memory coin. On that note, I am using 3rd Shaman with lower AGI to bypass Ancient Memory coin toss here. If you don't mean to spam that every single turn, it's not necessary of course. Harbinger and Evoker is used to get Petrify in to start, and then later Chain Blast once parts start to go out of control. Evoker debuffs and occasionally tanks via Fierce Shield. Deathbringer refreshes Wilting Miasma for own infliction or Chain Blast, while mixing some ailment for Black Blade stack and damage. Refreshing Miasma Armor is important if Black Blade is to be considered. BGM Used: Sangokushi SouSouDen Track 17 Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker Triangulum Field and Battle

Here is Team USA and Team Sweden Racing in the Great Sound. If you look closely on the right side of the Artemis boat around 2:00 min mark you can see something flapping on the right forward part of the boat. It appears as if a crew member threw something of the boat as they were racing along and the chase boat retrieved it right afterwards.
