The Ultimate Spain Travel Video: Follow a young couple around the beaches of San Sebastian, Barcelona, Ibiza and beyond. Discover what makes Spain one of the most beautiful countries on earth. https://www.instagram.com/evanthomas.me/ https://www.instagram.com/jjuliarosen/ This Spain travel video is a semi-fictional short inspired by edits from Brandon Li, Sam Kolder and Taylor Cut Films, among others. This Spain travel video is about a guy that meets a girl on a beach in San Sebastian. They travel together across Spain, before realizing they both have separate lives. One of my favorite movies of all time inspired this Spain travel video: "Before Sunrise" I originally wanted to make a Sam Kolder inspired edit, but decided half way through filming to pursue my own style. I admire the Brandon Li's editing and was inspired by his travel videos. I hope you enjoy my Spain travel video. The Trip to Spain - Official Trailer I HD I IFC Films

02:37
In theaters August 11th Directed by: Michael Winterbottom Starring: Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon After jaunts through northern England and Italy, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon embark on another deliciously deadpan culinary road trip. This time around, the guys head to Spain to sample the best of the country’s gastronomic offerings in between rounds of their hilariously off-the-cuff banter. Over plates of pintxos and paella, the pair exchange barbs and their patented celebrity impressions, as well as more serious reflections on what it means to settle into middle age. As always, the locales are breathtaking, the cuisine to die for, and the humor delightfully devilish. Coming up we have got some insight to Malaga, Marbella, Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Nerja. Malaga is the place to go for culture and history, with famous sites such as Alcazaba Fort and Malaga Cathedral spread across the city. First stop for us out of Malaga is Torremolinos. It’s everything you’d expect from a Spanish beach resort; with a huge variety of beaches, hotels and activities. La Carihuela would be our pick of the beaches for families with young children, as it’s a bit smaller with lots of shade and there’s lots of restaurants right on the beach. We found that many of the beaches in Torremolinos were huge and really wide open; none more so than Los Alamos beach, up near the airport. It gets really huge and a little bit sparse, which means that if you want to get away from the main crowds, you can just enjoy all of this space. Just 3km along the coast, Benalmadena is the next town along from Torremolinos. What we really liked the most was the huge amount of activities you can do. Up first on our list was to visit the Marina. Next up, beaches! The beaches in Benalmadena are similar to those in Torremolinos. Expect long stretches of sand with sun loungers, shops, restaurants and plenty of things to do. Away from the beaches, the cable car takes you 771m to the peak of Mount Calamorro, where you can look down on the whole of the Costa del Sol. Another reason to come to Benalmadena, Mariposario houses hundreds of butterflies and is a great place to take the family to learn all about their lifecycle and environments. While in Benalmadena, we stayed at the super popular Holiday Palace Resort Hotel. We’re here at the Holiday Palace in Benalmadena. It overlooks the sea and you’ve got the gorgeous mountains right behind you but you’d never really need to leave this hotel because everything is here on hand. There’s a huge pool, mini golf, garden, kids play area, activities every day, shops and more. The rooms are huge and ours had mini kitchens and balconies. The only real downside for us was that the wifi was slow and really expensive. Further west along the coast are Marbella and Puerto Banus. These resorts are where the rich and famous come to holiday, so it’s pricey down here, but you’ll find some of the Costa del Sol’s nicest beaches, clubs and hotels. Marbella has 17 miles of coastline, split into 24 different beaches, the most renowned of which is the 4-mile stretch famously referred to as the Golden Mile. Another thing to bear in mind if you plan to visit Marbella or Puerto Banus are the high prices. Food can be especially costly. For four of us to have 1 dish and a couple of soft drinks each, it came to 80 euros. It’s a pricey one here in Puerto Banus! But if you’re coming here, that’s what you need to expect. We stayed at the Melia Marbella Banus, which is typical of the more high-end hotels you’ll find here. It’s really expensive but you do get what you paid for, as it’s a resort hotel in every sense of the word. Nerja is the last stop on our guides to the Costa del Sol. About an hour’s drive east of Malaga, Nerja is where to come to get away from the tourist resorts and discover the secrets of the Andalusian countryside. The Balcon de Europa is one of the most popular tourist sites in Nerja. It’s a viewpoint that gives you some magnificent views of the coastline. Hiking is a popular activity on this part of the Costa del Sol and for the authentic and safest experience, we recommend hiring a local guide. We took a tour with John Keo’s guided walking tours and it was worth every penny. He took us through secret paths, through canyons and along streams, and showed us sites that we’d never have seen without him, including some traditional goat-herding.

We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here. It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts. Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter. Well, so what did you think of the city? It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose. And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. As always, if you have any suggestions of things to do around town, feel free to add them in the comments below. And if you want to catch our latest travel videos, don't forget to hit subscribe! This is part of our Travel in Spain series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Spanish culture, Spanish arts, Spanish foods, Spanish religion, Spanish cuisine and Spanish people. Top 7 places to visit in Madrid for 2018 - travel in Spain!

18:19
Here you have the top places to visit in Madrid for 2017 and beyond... Madrid is the capital and largest city of Spain. In this simple travel documentary, I take a walk around the city, starting in the Malasaña neighborhood. The places you should see in Madrid are: Calle Fuencarral, Gran Vía, Plaza de Callao, Plaza de España, Templo de Debod, the Royal Palace (Palacio Real) and the cathedral – Catedral de la Almudena. Other places we can see are Edificio España, Torre Madrid, the Telefónica Building and some of the buildings along Gran Vía. I also talk about some of the history, problems with the Spanish government and doing business in Spain, corruption and lion hunting in the royal family, the French Occupation and paintings by Goya and more. Keepin it real on a rainy Friday morning in Madrid. This travel film has it all: shopping, history, don Quixote, and much more. I hope you enjoy the video and leave me a comment. Check out my website for much more at http://expatmadrid.com

We hope our travel guide is a nice supplement to the information you might fight at the tourism office. Now go out and have fun exploring as you visit Madrid! 25 Things to do in Madrid, Spain | Top Attractions Travel Guide Travel Video Transcript: Hola y bienvenidos a Madrid. This week we are in the Spanish capital and we are going to show you twenty five of the best things to do in the city. Final thoughts on your time in Madrid. Well, I really enjoyed the city. And I really found that it is super walk-able. We were here for 10 days and we hardly had to take the metro at all. We just took the bus once when we were visiting the stadium but the rest of the time we were able to walk wherever we needed to go. And also I think it is a great city for art lovers. There are so many galleries and museums to check out. And a lot of them are free in the evening. So keep that in mind. And now it is your turn. What did you think of Madrid? You know what? I absolutely loved Madrid. It is a city that just really clicked with me. We have a lot of friends that are living here long term and prior to coming here I had no idea like why would someone want to come to Madrid? Now I totally get it. I love the culture, I love the food, I love the nightlife. Everything is really cheap. I go to the grocery store and I can get a one liter thing of wine for just over a Euro. It is just a really affordable fun city to be in. And it is somewhere I hope I have a chance to come back to again soon. And that is a wrap of our time in Madrid! We had a splendid time and were truly sad to say goodbye to the city, but that just means we'll have to come back again. If you have any travel tips for Madrid, feel free to share those in the comments below. This is part of our Travel in Spain series. We're making a series of videos showcasing Spanish culture, Spanish arts, Spanish foods, Spanish religion, Spanish cuisine and Spanish people. All photos and video taken by Samuel Jeffery (Nomadic Samuel) and Audrey Bergner (That Backpacker). Music in this video courtesy of Audio Network

Barcelona is today one of the world's leading tourist, economic, trade fair/exhibitions and cultural-sports centres, and its influence in commerce, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science, and the arts all contribute to its status as one of theworld's major global cities. The construction of this world famous church began in 1882 and is still ongoing), Casa Mila (also known as La Pedrera, it was architected by the great Antoni Gaudi. The unusual rooftop can be seen on many postcards from Barcelona), La Rambla (probably the most famous area of Barcelona and very popular amongst tourists. Don't forget to appreciate the history while watching street performers), Gothic Quarter (it the center of Barcelona's Old City. Besides the freshness of produce, presentation is extremely eye catching), Plaza de Espana (it is a grand, massive square in the middle of Barcelona. The square was built back in 1920 for the international exhibition), Parc Guell (Barcelona has many great landmarks designed by the world renowned architect, Antoni Gaudi. One of them is the unique Parc Guell) and many more. This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. Tenerife Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

05:31
Get out and explore Tenerife, Spain, a volcanic island boasting year-round sunshine and picturesque beaches. Where is Tenerife? It’s a coastal oasis, located on the largest Canary Island, just off the coast of North Africa. Soak up the sun at Las Americas Beach, one of the most popular spots along the shore, where you’ll find watersports ranging from parasailing to surfing. For another sought-after area, drive 10 minutes north of Las Americas to Del Duque Beach, a chic stretch with clear waters and a relaxing vibe. Prefer a beach with a boardwalk? Don’t miss the pristine shores of Los Cristianos. To experience unique scenery, venture north or west and relish the black-sand beaches at Jardin or Los Gigantes Beach. If you’re looking to see more than just the sea and sand, mosey into one of the many captivating villages. Santa Cruz de Tenerife, for example, is a must-visit part of town, where you’ll find heavy Spanish influences among numerous restaurants and a laid-back ambience. Check out the architectural wonder, the Auditorio de Tenerife “Adan Martin,” which has become symbolic of the archipelago. Next, marvel at the ancient dragon trees—said to be more 1,000 years old—in Icod de los Vinos, and then hike the trails in the mountain village of Masca. Whether your idea of a vacation is basking in the sand of Spanish shores or getting to know the local history, you’ll find it all on your next getaway in Tenerife. For more of an inside scoop on this picturesque destination, check out our Tenerife travel guide and get ready to pack your bags. http://www.expedia.com/Tenerife.d6047194.Destination-Travel-Guides -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on social media: Twitter: https://twitter.com/Expedia Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/expedia Instagram: http://instagram.com/expedia Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/Expedia/ Google+: https://plus.google.com/+Expedia -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on our travel blog, Viewfinder: http://viewfinder.expedia.com/

So what is it about this island that keeps them coming back? It’s year-round sunshine. It’s a home away from home, where everyone speaks English and all of the restaurants serve British staples. Or an adventure holiday for hikers, cyclists and speleologists (that’s people who really dig caves!). Tenerife has two peak seasons: between December and February for winter sun - the weather is moderate and the island is fully set for tourists at this time of year. Summer season is from May to October and it’s when prices are at their highest. Out of season prices are lower, but the resorts will be quieter, with fewer shops open. Tenerife is easy enough to get to. About a four and a half hour flight from London and even the timezone is the same as at home. Flights can be anything from as little as £40 in March to nearly £300 at peak season in July, sometimes more. The south of the island is home to the main resorts - Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos. Both very popular with Brits and quite lively, yet also family-friendly. Los Gigantes is popular with ex-pats and is slightly more relaxed and has very authentic volcanic black sand. The town of Santa Cruz is home to theatres, art galleries, architecture and fine-dining, green parks and is, in general, a bit more cultured. The interior is where you’re more likely to find the real Tenerife and get to experience a more authentic way of life. You’ll find fewer amenities here and English is likely to be a little broken but know that you’re only ever an hour or so from the familiar coastal towns. A major tourist attraction here is Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain. It’s a beautiful mountain to climb and costs €27 per person for a cable car. Bus transfers to your hotel from the airport are often included in the price of your holiday. A taxi, however, is more comfortable and quicker but it will be more expensive. For travelling beyond your hotel though, hire a car. European brands like Europcar and Avis are available at Tenerife airport. The lesser-known and slightly cheaper brand, Cicar, provided a service that was easily as good as any of the larger brands. Don’t forget - you drive on the right. The currency is Euros. A lot of places will accept card payment but it’s a good idea to have cash on you. A pint of beer in a bar in Tenerife can cost you less than €2 if you go for local beers. Wine is really cheap. Happy hour wine can be as little as €1.50. But if you buy at the supermarket, it’s laughable it’s so inexpensive. Restaurants serve lunch from 1 to 4pm, with dinner service starting at 6 and closing as late as 11 in the evening. Tipping is not compulsory but it’s certainly not bad manners to tip either. Tenerife is not known for being unsafe. It has low crime rates, however it’s always wise to exercise common sense. Watch out for pickpockets but mainly, behave as you would at home and absolutely buy travel insurance. Tenerife is a great island, that has loads to offer. It’s safe as long as you exercise common sense and it is a holiday destination that we highly recommend.

Toledo Vacation Travel Video Guide

09:34
Travel video about destination Toledo in Spain. Toledo is one of the oldest and proudest cities in Spain and during Roman times a large settlement was established there. Later, the Visi Goths recognized the strategic value of this city on the Rio Tajo and it became the capital of their empire. Elevated on a mighty rock foundation the Toledo's unique location served a useful purpose for its eventual defense as the city was the scene of many a bloody battle. In 712 A.D. the capital of the Visi Goths was violently integrated with the Muslim Empire of Al-Andalus. Throughout the centuries Toledo has been regarded as a cultural centre of medieval Spain and was known as a 'City of Three Cultures' as it was here that Arabs, Jews and Christians lived together in peace until the time when the catholic church grew intolerant of other religions. In 1229, construction work on the monumental Toledo Cathedral began and in 1493 the Gothic masterpiece was completed. The proportions of this enormous cathedral make it one of the most spectacular in Spain. The mighty fortress of Alcazar is a world apart from the cathedral and served as the model for the later building of El Escorial. Since its construction in the 16th century, the city's landmark was rebuilt and restored following numerous wars and hostilities. The massive Bisagra Gate embodies yet another symbol of the fusion between Arabic Moorish and Spanish Castilian architecture. Swathed in colourful and dramatic history Toledo enjoys a unique place among all of Spain's old and fascinating cities. -------------- Watch more travel videos ► https://goo.gl/MXPgSs Join us.
