The Ultimate Spain Travel Video: Follow a young couple around the beaches of San Sebastian, Barcelona, Ibiza and beyond. Discover what makes Spain one of the most beautiful countries on earth. https://www.instagram.com/evanthomas.me/ https://www.instagram.com/jjuliarosen/ This Spain travel video is a semi-fictional short inspired by edits from Brandon Li, Sam Kolder and Taylor Cut Films, among others. This Spain travel video is about a guy that meets a girl on a beach in San Sebastian. They travel together across Spain, before realizing they both have separate lives. One of my favorite movies of all time inspired this Spain travel video: "Before Sunrise" I originally wanted to make a Sam Kolder inspired edit, but decided half way through filming to pursue my own style. I admire the Brandon Li's editing and was inspired by his travel videos. I hope you enjoy my Spain travel video. Tenerife Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

Get out and explore Tenerife, Spain, a volcanic island boasting year-round sunshine and picturesque beaches. Where is Tenerife? It’s a coastal oasis, located on the largest Canary Island, just off the coast of North Africa. Soak up the sun at Las Americas Beach, one of the most popular spots along the shore, where you’ll find watersports ranging from parasailing to surfing. For another sought-after area, drive 10 minutes north of Las Americas to Del Duque Beach, a chic stretch with clear waters and a relaxing vibe. Prefer a beach with a boardwalk? Don’t miss the pristine shores of Los Cristianos. To experience unique scenery, venture north or west and relish the black-sand beaches at Jardin or Los Gigantes Beach. If you’re looking to see more than just the sea and sand, mosey into one of the many captivating villages. Santa Cruz de Tenerife, for example, is a must-visit part of town, where you’ll find heavy Spanish influences among numerous restaurants and a laid-back ambience. Check out the architectural wonder, the Auditorio de Tenerife “Adan Martin,” which has become symbolic of the archipelago. Next, marvel at the ancient dragon trees—said to be more 1,000 years old—in Icod de los Vinos, and then hike the trails in the mountain village of Masca. Whether your idea of a vacation is basking in the sand of Spanish shores or getting to know the local history, you’ll find it all on your next getaway in Tenerife. The island oasis of Lanzarote, Spain, is eagerly awaiting your arrival. Venture to the easternmost island of the Spanish archipelago and discover this scenic hot spot. With the help of artist and architect Cesar Manrique, Lanzarote’s landscape has integrated the natural beauty of the island with organic building designs. Kick-start your travels at the Cesar Manrique Foundation, which was once the home of the famous architect. You’ll come across rooms that are built into caves created by a volcano eruption long ago. To see more of Manrique’s artistic work, head to the Jardin de Cactus, which features more than 10,000 plants, and then relish the majestic views from the Mirador del Rio. Jameos del Agua is another fascinating attraction, where you can climb down the staircase into caves with restaurants and a concert venue. Want to see more of the island’s captivating scenery? Tour the fire mountains at Timanfaya National Park and marvel at the flames rising from the center of the earth, or simply bask on the pristine shores of Playa del Carmen. If you’d prefer to make a splash, head to the rock pools at Punta Mujeres and go on a snorkeling excursion around the cove. To top it all off, round out your adventures with a jaunt to the charming village of Yaiza, a 17th-century town, and soak up the touristy area at Puerto del Carmen. Come to this slice of paradise for the beaches and Manrique’s contributions. Canary Islands Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

08:46
The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, just off Morocco in North Africa. Formed by volcanic eruptions and shaped by hot desert winds, they are comprised of 7 main islands. When powerful seismic forces lifted these islands out of the ocean millions of years ago, they sculpted landscapes of unimaginable beauty. So spectacular are the Canary Islands that for centuries, it was believed that this archipelago formed the peaks of the legendary lost city of Atlantis. Today, the Canary Islands are a magnet for sun seekers, beachcombers and adventurers from all over the world. With, 160 miles of coastline, 150 beaches and a climate that feels like it is always spring, the island of Fuerteventura is a perfect place to slow down and relax. A short ferry ride to the west of Fuerteventura is Gran Canaria - a place of ever changing climates and vistas. This island abounds with otherworldly landscapes that have been inspiring visitors for centuries. Take a hike to Pilancones Natural Park. The spectacular plateaus and cool ravines in this area are around 12 million years old. Tenerife, is the largest and busiest of the Canary Islands, receiving around 5 million visitors a year. Or, choose to visit Lanzarote is the Canaries’ easternmost island and is sometimes called the “Island of 100 Volcanoes.” Be humbled by Mother Nature’s destructive power on a tour of Timanfaya National Park. This region suffered a series of devastating eruptions in the 1700s and has remained largely unchanged ever since. No matter which of these magnificent islands you choose, as the sun’s molten rays merge the ocean with the earth, you’ll realise this is a place where Mother Nature and history collide. The mythical city of Atlantis may be a story, lost in the mists of time, but the Canary Islands are only a plane ride away. Whether you are searching for dramatic adventures or a sun-soaked vacation, this archipelago is alive with a powerful magic all its own. https://www.expedia.com/Canary-Islands.d180087.Destination-Travel-Guides -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on social media: Twitter: https://twitter.com/Expedia Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/expedia Instagram: http://instagram.com/expedia Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/Expedia/ Google+: https://plus.google.com/+Expedia -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on our travel blog, Viewfinder: http://viewfinder.expedia.com/

🇪🇸ALICANTE TRAVEL GUIDE🇪🇸

Our Alicante Travel Guide is here! 🇪🇸 Join us as we explore this historic port city on Spain's Costa Blanca. At the heart of Alicante is an energy, a culture, an identity that has persevered through the growth of tourism and in our epic guide we show you the very best parts of the city. Thank you so much to María from Free Walking Tours Alicante for her help with this video, it was invaluable. You can book a tour through here website here - http://www.freewalkingtoursalicante.com. If you’re from the English-speaking world, then maybe not. But you should! It means ‘Forward, like the people of Alicante’. In Spain, this popular saying defines the people of Alicante by their drive, determination and spirit. Historically, this port city on the Costa Blanca has faced many struggles - be they due to war or economic troubles - but the people of Alicante have persevered, with their heads held high, and pressed forward. The late 1950s and 60s were a transformative time for the city. The growth of global tourism drove holidaymakers to locations like Alicante, which enjoyed beautiful climates year-round. The local economy benefited greatly from well-funded construction projects such as hotels and complexes that accompanied this increase in tourism, and in turn, the extra visitors drove an increase in the number of wonderful restaurants, bars and cafés Alicante has to offer. At the heart of Alicante is an energy - a culture and identity that has persevered through the growth of the tourism here. The idyllic and instagrammable paved streets of the Barrio de Santa Cruz lead you on a path around the mountain at the centre of the city, Monte Benacantil, and the ancient walls of the Castillo de Santa Barbara on its peak. The castle is visible from everywhere in the city, whether you’re soaking up some sun at the beach, or shopping for fresh local produce in Alicante’s Mercado Central. With neighbors like the infamous Benidorm, I had a few assumptions about the nature of tourism in the city, and I couldn’t have been more wrong. The real, authentic Alicante is here and waiting for you, and I could feel it from the moment we landed. The city of Alicante is around 1,260 miles from London. To get there, we chose the way you’ll also most likely be using, which is to fly! We flew from Gatwick airport, so to start our trip in style, we booked ourselves into the Number 1 Lounge. Unlimited food and drink was a nice way to enjoy the free WiFi, which was perfect for some extra last-minute research and filling our Netflix downloads for the plane. If you fancy starting your holiday like a VIP, you can use the Holiday Extras app to book yours. Alicante has its own airport, so getting in is easy. A flight from Gatwick to Alicante takes only around 2.5 hours. Then, the airport is just a 20 minute drive away from the town centre. Our recommendation? Book yourself a private transfer or taxi. The door to door service is the most hassle-free option. Alternatively, you can take the C6 bus from Alicante Airport into the city, which arrives every 20 minutes throughout the daytime or once an hour between midnight and 5am, and takes just 20 minutes. We wanted to soak in as much of the Alicante experience as we could, so we’re doing most of our exploring by foot. Many of the best sights in Alicante are all within walking distance of one another. We used Google Maps to plan our routes. Perfect if you’re planning on doing a lot of walking, but it’ll also show you your public transport options too, so you’ll know if you could save time by opting to catch a tram instead. Alicante is full of energy, so it’s no surprise that this city attracts party people, stag do’s and hen nights. But if you know where to look, it can also be serene, idyllic and a history lover’s paradise… if you know where to look. So on our first morning in Alicante, we made our way over to the Castillo de Santa Barbara to get the best views over Alicante. On our way there, we passed the Playa del Postiguet, or Postiguet Beach, and naturally, had to stop to enjoy it. One of Alicante’s most popular beaches, it’s only a short walk from the town centre and is renowned for the quality of the sand and gorgeous palm tree boardwalk.

We also cover off-the-beaten-path outdoor activities you won't find in a typical Granada tourism brochure, Granada itinerary or Granada, Spain city tour also known as Granada España. 10 Things to do in Granada, Spain Travel Guide Video Transcript: Wrapping up our travels in Spain, our last city to visit was Granada. Set in Andalusia at the foot of the snow capped Sierra Nevada, this is a place where Moorish influence is palpable. From hilltop fortresses to Moroccan markets, and tranquil gardens to quaint teahouses, in this travel guide we’re going to show you some of the things you can do in Granada: This Cathedral was as grand as you’d expect. The stark white interiors were a bit of a contrast to the ornate churches we had seen in other cities, but that just made your eyes travel towards a glowing, golden altar. The Moroccan souk turned out to be one of our favourite spots in the city. The street was packed with tiny shops standing shoulder to shoulder, all filled with leather handbags, glass lamps, wool slippers, colourful scarves and pashminas and souvenirs. We continued our way up the hill into Albayzín. This is one of the oldest centres of Muslim culture in Granada. The neighbourhood is a maze of narrow cobbled streets, white-houses with tiled roofs, and small courtyards sprinkled in between. We made time to stop at one of the teterías, or teahouses. This was the perfect place to rest on a cold winter day and enjoy some afternoon treats. You can find numerous Moroccan restaurants in this part of the city for food. One place we ate at on more than once occasion was Al-Faguara. They offered set menus for lunch featuring hummus, falafel, couscous, tajine, and of course, lots of baklava. Let’s take a moment to talk about Granada’s main tourist attraction: the Alhambra! The Alhambra is a massive complex of palaces, gardens and fortresses that once formed the citadel of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada, which was the last Muslim dynasty to rule along the Iberian Peninsula from the years 1230 to 1492. This is the one attraction you can’t miss when you visit Granada, and you’ll want to book your tickets well in advance as they can sell out during high season. We spent half a day touring the grounds during which time we visited the Nasrid Palaces, the Palace of Charles the Fifth, the Alcazaba, and the Generalife. We decided to find a cafe where we could indulge in a delicious Spanish breakfast. Another spot we explored in Granada is Carrerra del Darro, a small lane that runs along the Darro River at the base of the Alhambra. This street is lined with arched-stone bridges and historic buildings. We’ll leave you with a few scenes of Granada at night and one last glimpse of the Alhambra lit up against the evening sky. We hope you enjoyed this video and that you got ideas of things do in Granada on your own visit. This is part of our Travel in Spain video series showcasing Spanish food, Spanish culture and Spanish cuisine. Music by Mic-Keys: https://soundcloud.com/mic_keys

The most important places to visit in Barcelona are: La Sagrada Familia (This was the largest project by Antoni Gaudi. The construction of this world famous church began in 1882 and is still ongoing), Casa Mila (also known as La Pedrera, it was architected by the great Antoni Gaudi. The unusual rooftop can be seen on many postcards from Barcelona), La Rambla (probably the most famous area of Barcelona and very popular amongst tourists. Don't forget to appreciate the history while watching street performers), Gothic Quarter (it the center of Barcelona's Old City. Amidst the buildings from medieval times, you will feel transported back in time), La Boqueria (a colorful market where you will find both locals and visitors. Besides the freshness of produce, presentation is extremely eye catching), Plaza de Espana (it is a grand, massive square in the middle of Barcelona. The square was built back in 1920 for the international exhibition), Parc Guell (Barcelona has many great landmarks designed by the world renowned architect, Antoni Gaudi. One of them is the unique Parc Guell) and many more. This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Barcelona travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. Barcelona! After a few days in the Spanish capital, we headed over to Catalunya to see what this popular seaside city has to offer. We are in Barcelona and this video is going to highlight 25 things to do here. It is kind of hard to believe our time in Barcelona has expired. So final thoughts. Well, it was a really fun city to visit. Great architecture, really nice beaches. It is very lively especially at night. The only downfall is that we were here in the middle of summer so it was super hot and super crowded and sometimes that made it a little bit difficult to enjoy. Especially at midday or in the mid-afternoon. So keep that in mind. Maybe consider visiting in the springtime, fall, winter. Well, so what did you think of the city? It is definitely a fun city. We had a lot of fun going to the beaches. One thing that is really different about this city compared to some other European cities though is that it is really spread out. In order for us to visit all of these different attractions we had to chunk them together into groups to visit them day by day. Overall, it was a decent city. It didn't quite click with me the same way that Madrid did. But that is just personal preference I suppose. And that is a wrap for Barcelona! Our 5 days in the city flew by, and while this guide didn't cover everything, we hope we were able to give you a feel of what this fun seaside city has to offer. As always, if you have any suggestions of things to do around town, feel free to add them in the comments below. And if you want to catch our latest travel videos, don't forget to hit subscribe! Barcelona (Spain) Vacation Travel Video Guide

25:34
✱ 2.975 Hotels in Barcelona - Lowest Price Guarantee ► https://booki.ng/2tnZ2Tf Travel video about destination Barcelona in Spain. Barcelona is one of the most lively harbor cities on the Mediterranean and after Madrid, Spain's second largest city and the capital of Catalonia. Intimate squares, small palaces and tangled alleys provide a good insight into its history as Iberians, Greeks and Romans once had trading posts there. La Rambla is a wide and shady boulevard that travels through the old town to the harbor and is where life goes on both night and day. It's also where street artists perform, shoeblacks work diligently and portrait painters tout for trade among the passing tourists. The Museu Marítim is situated in the royal dockyards of Drassanes, that were built when the city was at its zenith. Its buildings are unique examples of Gothic architecture and the vast dimensions of the dockyard allowed 30 ships to be built simultaneously in the name of the Catalonian-Aragon crown. Few parks are as famous as the Park Güell. With this, Antoni Gaudi created a new design concept in this fabulous garden city. At its entrance, Gaudi placed a colorful lizard as a symbol of the water that is collected in subterranean cisterns and is used for the distribution of water in the park. The city itself is also featured in Gaudi's magnificent fantasies. The Palau Güell was treated to an ostentatious roof with a great array of air shafts and chimneys. But the sight that captures the imagination of most who see it is the amazing façade of the Casa Mila, a unique apartment block without equal. Not a single wall is straight, glass and plaster were used for its façade and colourful ornamental ceramics complete the work. Barcelona is a melting pot that ranges from Gothic to Modernism, a veritable explosion of joie de vivre and creativity. -------------- Watch more travel videos ► https://goo.gl/MXPgSs Join us. Madeira Island Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia

09:29
https://www.expedia.com/Madeira-Island.d11326.Destination-Travel-Guides Pushed by volcanic forces from the sea floor into the warm trade winds of the North Atlantic, are the dramatic cliffs of Madeira. Volcanic activity may have settled millennia ago, but the island’s rich soils and spring climate means Madeira explodes in lush vegetation all year round. Madeira’s capital, Funchal, was named after the wild fennel which once carpeted its hillsides. Walk streets paved with patterned stonework that evokes the spirit of Portuguese culture and pride. Explore centuries-old churches and homes, which have endured pirate raids, German U-boat attacks, and earthquakes. From Funchal, head west to Cabo Girão, one of the world’s mightiest cliffs. You’ll find colossal views just a fifteen-minute drive east of Funchal too. At Garajau, watch divers far below enjoying the undersea gardens of the marine reserve. Madeira’s ring road strings together coastal towns and beaches, each one a little different from the last. If you’re looking for the island’s sunniest spot, head to Ponta do Sol. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, head to the old sugar town of Arco da Calheta and enjoy a honey cake. And if the rumbling sound of breakers is your idea of relaxation, spend a night or two at Paul do Mar. Madeira’s northern coastline offers plenty of drama and adventure too. Feel the power of the Atlantic in the natural swimming pools of Porto Moniz. If you’re keen on hiking the levadas into the mist-covered interior, the town of Seixal makes an ideal base. Less than an hour’s drive from Funchal is Pico do Arieiro, Madeira’s third highest peak. From here, experienced hikers can follow knife-edged trails to even higher peaks, the same peaks that guided Portuguese mariners to Madeira six centuries ago.

Madrid Vacation Travel Video Guide

25:35
Travel video about destination Madrid in Spain. Madrid is Europe's most elevated metropolis, a royal capital of history, outstanding buildings and cultural treasures. Most of Spain's royal palaces are in Madrid, the capital of Spain since the 17th century. Including the Royal Palace, that even today serves as a royal castle. The colossal building of grey granite and limestone owes its impressive appearance to its length of 500 metres and strategic elevated location. On the southern side of the castle is Madrid's most recent cathedral, Almudena Cathedral. It boasts a combination of styles between New Gothic and Classical and was 200 years in construction. Madrid also has a boulevard that has transformed it into a major metropolis, the Gran Via, that compares in both flair and dimensions with the exquisite streets of Paris and New York, with splendid noble buildings along with the contemporary. What the Gran Via a hundred years ago, the Paseo De La Castellana achieved comparable renown at the end of the last millennium, a replica of Manhattan, the Zona Azca. A modern city district with spectacular skyscrapers and spacious streets where chrome, glass and concrete dominate the futuristic skyline. The royal splendor of former times has managed to successfully combine with the contemporary and today, Madrid is no less flamboyant, a city of historic joie de vivre! -------------- Watch more travel videos ► https://goo.gl/MXPgSs Join us. Tenerife Travel Guide: Top 10 Things To Do (4K)

07:01
I have put together this Tenerife Travel Guide to share my experience of the island and hopefully give an insight into the many different excursions and day trips you can do, as well as some of the less touristy spots too. This video covers flights to Tenerife, Tenerife hire car, and Tenerife accommodation. More Car Hire Info: http://bit.ly/tenerifecars This Tenerife top 10 travel guide includes: Teide National Park, Siam Park, whale and dolphin watching, Tenerife beaches, Icod, Masca, Santa Cruz, Spanish fiestas and more. In my experience, people come to Tenerife for the sunshine and sometimes don't leave their all inclusive resort which is a huge shame as Tenerife has so much to offer. Hopefully my Tenerife Top 10 may persuade you to explore further if you're planning a trip to Tenerife. Tenerife is part of the Canary Islands and my family have been taking their holiday here for over 30 years. Tenerife and the Canary Islands hold a special place in my heart and I want to share with you why. Costa del Sol Travel Guide

25:35
Travel video about destination Costa del Sol in Spain. The Costa Del Sol is the name of the southern Mediterranean coast of Spain. In former times, a variety of bumpy roads connected the region’s sandy bays and remote fishing villages but today, its modern roads cater for mass tourism.Almunecar is the main tourist centre on this section of the coast. Once a tranquil fishing village, it’s now a busy coastal resort. A wide road separates clean, extensive beaches from huge apartment blocks that were constructed during an amazing transformation of the coastline.Torrox is an Andalusian mountain village that has so far managed to remain off the tourist trail and in which village life continues as it always has done.Since Phoenician times, Malaga has been a busy trading port that was defended by the Castillo De Gibralfaro, which is located on the summit of a mountain. The large bay, with its protective mountain range in the north, enjoys a mild climate throughout the entire year.Around 10 kilometres south of Malaga is the modern coastal resort of Torremolinos, since the 1950s a centre of mass tourism. The city developed at a wild pace and soon had all the attributes of a modern holiday resort, with innumerable huge skyscrapers, bars and restaurants and also endless sandy beaches and exciting entertainment facilities.Marbella is the prima donna of the Costa Del Sol and a marvelous rendezvous for the stars of both stage and screen, a leisure resort for the international jet set. The yachting harbor of Puerto Banus is the true symbol of Marbella and its quay has a colorful variety of bars, cafés, restaurants and exquisite shops. The journey through fiery southern Spain ends with the Rock of Gibraltar. Dreamy harbor towns cultural metropolises with a Moorish past and Christian buildings and white villages. The Costa Del Sol is full of history and magical atmosphere. The sun is just a bonus! -------------- Watch more travel videos ► https://goo.gl/MXPgSs Join us.
