Commander Keen 4, 5 and 6 - the biggest secrets

03:03
Well, this is a video showing the secrets which IMO are the hardest to get of each game. Note that secret levels aren't included, because there are videos showing how to get them on youtube already. Also, I added 2 bonus tracks. The first one shows how the get the Standard Galactic Alphabet in Keen 6 (now you can decipher all the game signs hehe). The second one shows how to make Keen moon you in Keen 4. Enjoy and comment! Played by me :P

Longplay: Commander Keen 4 - Secret of the Oracle (1991) [MS-DOS]

02:04:27
The 4th episode of the commander keen games is called Secret of the Oracle. It belongs to the second keen serie "Goodbye Galaxy!". This serie includes also another keen game, The Armageddon Machine, which is not shareware. Secret of the Oracle is shareware and can be downloaded from the downloads page. This game is actually worth to download since it has better gameplay and graphics than the other old versions. Billy has been working on a new invention in this episode. His latest invention is the Photachyon Tranceiver, a radio that can reviece signals from anywhere in the galaxy. After playing around with his new invention, he suddenly hears a strange message: "brrzzz ... giggg ... oment of great triumph ... frzzt ... ast the Milky Way will be ... huzzzzz ... terly destroyed ... pyuneeeeeeg ... can stop us now. We will remake the galaxy in the name of the Gannalech. Power to our race! power to the Shikadi!" After zapping his parents, Billy heads to The Oracle of Gnosticus IV, who will help Billy with his mission. But after arriving on Gnosticus IV he discovers that the Shikadi have already been there. The Shikadi seems to have kidnapped all the members of the council, and taken them all to the shadow lands in the west side of the planet. Sounds like a interesting mission for commander keen. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nostalgic value for retrogamers in the Highest HD quality you can find on Youtube! Commander Keen 4 Lifewater Oasis cheat - extra lives

01:31
A video clip showing how to get the normally inaccessible treasures at the bottom of Lifewater Oasis. There are five lifewater flasks (extra lives) suspended above the water that Keen cannot reach - when I was a kid I always wondered how to get into that space (now it seems like I'm not the only one who wondered). I usually don't like to cheat, but in order to solve the mystery of how to get to that lower space I'll show what to do. First you must press [A]+[2]+[ENTER] and the screen should say "Debug keys active." Be sure to kill the two slugs so you don't hit them by accident when flying through the tunnels. When in the bottom tunnel press [F10]+[J] and the screen should say "Jump Cheat ON," then press [F10]+[N] and the screen should say "No Clipping ON." Start pressing the jump key and you will fall through the floor, then fly back up to re-enter the accessible tunnels. Do NOT let Keen fall to the bottom of the screen - you will lose a life. Repeating the commands used to activate the cheat modes will turn the cheats off (these cheats make the game more difficult if you try to play the rest of the level with them activated) - if the No Clipping cheat turns itself off just enter the command again to continue collecting the underground treasures.

Commander Keen: Atroxian Realm - How to get to the Secret Level

02:34
Commander Keen: Atroxian Realm How to get to the Secret Level Atroxian Realm is a major Keen 4 mod released in its completed form on the 16th of January 2016 by Gridlock. This project, in progress for five years, with multiple collaborators from the Commander Keen community, was dubbed "the largest Keen mod that's been made to date" by its author, a claim that no-one has yet disputed. This mod follows the story of an adventure involving Commander Keen who is summoned by the Krile, native inhabitants of the planet Krisle. The Krile are in distress, as the robotic Atroxians have invaded their planet and begun to inflict a dark terraforming programme upon Krisle, using their deadly Realm Reactor. This adventure leads Keen through a myriad of rural and industrial settings leading ultimately to the fabled Great Ziggurat. In this video, I will show you how to get to the secret level, Crystal Sanctuary. I forgot to show it to you in my run of level 16, so I asked Gridlock on the PCKF forums and he showed me how. I figured why not.

Commander Keen 4 100% - 17:50

19:11
Better time! Check it here: http://youtu.be/XnsRsqbGVmc I honestly don't consider this a very good run, but Pyramid of the Forbidden takes so much out of me most days (and I lost a good twenty seconds to that level from bad luck alone). The other levels are... okay. Naturally if you compare them to the any% they're quite blah, so feel free to skip around a bit to look at the non-any% levels. However, all that said, sub-18 is a good time. I would have loved to get around 17:30, and I'm sure I'll come back for one, but this one was good enough to post here.

Commander Keen (司令官の鋭い) is a series of video games developed by id Software in the early 1990s. The series focuses on the adventures of Billy Blaze, an 8-year old boy who travels through space and assumes the identity "Commander Keen". The series was successful at replicating the side-scrolling action of the Nintendo Entertainment System Super Mario Bros. games in DOS. The cartoon-style platform games are notable for their pioneering use of EGA graphics and shareware distribution, and they were some of the first games by id Software (which went on to develop blockbusters like Doom and Quake). The games were also exciting to the PC gaming community of the time because of John D. Carmack's smooth-scrolling graphics engine. Although developed by id, most of the Commander Keen games were published by Apogee Software, an already established DOS shareware game publisher. Tom Hall is Commander Keen's designer and the creator of its universe. The games (with the exception of Aliens Ate My Baby Sitter!) were made available on Steam on August 3, 2007. Keen's newly finished homemade faster-than-light radio picks up a plot by the Shikadi to destroy the galaxy. He rushes to the planet Gnosticus IV to consult the Keepers of the Oracle, but discovers that they have been taken captive. Thus, the gameplay centers on Keen finding and rescuing the eight elders. Commander Keen 4 - Accessing the secret level

04:00
A video clip showing how to access the secret level of Commander Keen Secret of the Oracle. To get there you will first need to enter the Pyramid of the Moons, grab the yellow gem, and go to the bottom level. Do NOT use this gem to open the door on the floor below the platform where the gem is located (by the arachnut) if you want to go to the secret level. Once you have opened the door on the bottom level by using your yellow gem you will need to flip the switch and gather all the inchworms together in one place. Once they are all gathered together a large foot will appear and Keen will be transported to the pyramid with the hand on it (Pyramid of the Forbidden). WARNING - Pyramid of the Forbidden is VERY difficult and you won't be able to escape until you pass that level.

Time for the Commander Keen series to go VGA! Armed with a new game engine and vastly improved visuals and sound, a new series will start anew called "Goodbye Galaxy!". Unlike Invasion of the Vorticons, which was 3 games long, "Goodbye Galaxy!" is only 2 games. There would be a Commander Keen 6 with the same engine, but it'd be a stand-alone game with a different story. Rescue your elders, eat your veggies and don't feed the Dopefish in this beloved volume of the Commander Keen series. Also coming soon, a Hard mode playthrough of this game.

This episode features huge levels and a wide variety of enemies and modified game mechanics. -- Commander Keen é uma série de jogos de vídeo desenvolvido pela id Software, no início de 1990. A run through of the Lifewater Oasis level in Commander Keen 4 (Goodbye Galaxy). This is one of the required levels in the game, and has a couple of secrets. To answer the question that so many have asked, there is no way into the underground space containing the lifewater flasks and teardrops unless you cheat (I have posted another video clip showing how to get there). Also, there is a space near the end of the level that contains jawbreakers and a hidden mimrock - the treasures and mimrock are below the bottom of the screen, so you can't see them (no need to cheat there).

My gameplay of Commander Keen episode four: The secret of the Oracle. This is part one. Months have passed and Keen was forced to go to bed at an early hour and eat mashed potatoes. One day, Keen tries out his new stellar radio that he has built. After hearing a ton of bad alien sitcoms, Keen stumbles upon a radio transmission about a group of aliens called the Shikadi support Gannalech. Keen stuns his parents by using his Neural Stunner and goes out to space to look for the Shikadi. Commander Keen takes a stop at Gnosticus at the Shadowlands and gets an answer from the Oracle.

Walkthrough of the secret Commander Keen 4 level named "Pyramid of the Forbidden" on the fastest speed I could achieve. A little over 4 minutes. Saved a couple of times, but cut these parts out. You can easily find these moments if you listen to the music carefully; it was cut too. Прохождение самого сложного секретного уровня Commander Keen 4 «Pyramid of the Forbidden» на максимальной скорости, которую я смог достичь. Всего чуть больше 4 минут. Сохранялся несколько раз, но вырезал эти куски, чтобы не портить эффект. Эти моменты легко обнаружить, если прислушться к музыке: она тоже обрывается.
